Once the flexi benefits are locked, you will be auto-redirected to the choice set configuration tool. If you closed the browser tab, use this link to load again.
After the tool loads the organisation, go through the instructions shown in the choice set configurator. Click on Create Choice Set
button to create a choice set.
The system will create a draft choice set and allow editing of choice set. Add an identifiable label for the choice set. You can select the choice owner for each benefit and rider (if applicable) and the default grade (GMC, for example) for that choice set.
You can also add a wallet amount sponsored for the employees associated with that choice set. E.g. Swiggy provided INR 5000 as a wallet amount for all the choice sets.
Once all the details are finalised, click on save. You can edit the choice set or remove a choice set any number of times.
Once you create as many choice sets as required, finalise the configuration.
Once finalised, the choice sets will be created, and the tool will display a table with the list of choice sets created. Note that the choice sets will contain an alias title and code. The alias title is required to onboard members via Collect/OT.
You need to create as many choice sets as many GMC grades created. Only one GMC grade can be assigned per choice set. So, you would need to create as many choice sets so that the GMC grades can be utilised as intended.
What is HR / Employee choice? Any flexi benefits the employee can opt for during enrollment are termed Employee choice. Benefits given to the employee by default during enrollment are HR choices. In the above example image, employees can opt for Zero Deduction and VT if required. The company will charge them if they opt for them. The company provides other benefits by default, and the company pays for them.
Once this step is completed, the flexi benefit configuration is completed. You can add members/employees to the organisation via OT and start the enrollment. Congratulations! 🎉
